TREATMENT UNDER SEDATION

Treatment of horses under sedation is a technique that has been developed by experienced ACPAT Veterinary Physiotherapists and is supported by most vets. The technique is particularly beneficial for horses with stiff and painful necks, those who are very sore due to excessive muscle spasm or very nervous horses that do not tolerate standard physiotherapy treatment. The technique involves your vet being present and undertaking the sedation followed by the physiotherapy treatment.
